Nathaniel and Lydia have been best friends since they were children. Slowly into their adulthood Nathaniel and Lydia fell in love. When Nathaniel and Lydia was attacked Lydia gave herself up for Nathaniel. Nathaniel searched for Lydia but never was able to find her. When they found the necklace that Nathaniel gave Lydia it was believe that Lydia was dead. Nathaniel took her death really hard. He became sad and depressed. Lydia was at King Ronald's castle. She was tortured for info about Nathaniel and Aliren. Weeks later Lydia was able to escape she made it back to Aliren. Nathaniel was beyond happy that Lydia was really alive, he was guilty
